CONFERENCE AGENDA

Detention Watch Network cordially invites all of our members to attend the 10th National DWN Member Conference. The Conference is a national gathering for members to learn from one another, re-connect and strengthen our collective efforts against the unjust and inhumane immigration detention and deportation system.

We hope you will join us!

About the Conference

The conference will be held at George Mason University, Arlington Campus on May 8th (beginning at 9:15 a.m.) to May 10th (concluding at 12:30 p.m.), 2014. The conference aims to engage new and current members on the collective priorities of the Network, share and enhance members’ expertise and leadership, and enlist member commitment as we move toward our new vision of A World without Detention. Discussions will include topics such as the #EndTheQuota Campaign, cross-pollination with the criminal “injustice” system, and international trends, among others.

Please note that this conference is intended for current members of the Detention Watch Network. If you or your organization are not a member but are interested in joining DWN and attending the conference, please contact Carly Perez, Membership and Program Coordinator at cperez [at] detentionwatchnetwork [dot] org.

*Membership applications must be received prior to the conference in order to attend.*
