Visitation restrictions: One visitation room for 600 inmates. Attorneys have difficulty addressing sensitive, confidential matters in such an open setting. Meeting lacks any degree of privacy.

Access to phone?: Limited access to phones. Unreliable calling free calling systems, often out of service, for required phone calls. Inmates supposedly can contact legal aid providers, etc, but the systems rarely works. Detainee's also have access to a paid phone systems which is prohibitively expensive

Conditions of confinement

Conditions: Generally highlighted by DHS as a model detainment center. Generally cleaner than most jails. Facility has a community room, and appears to have a pet program where detainees have the ability to interact with rabbits and turtles.
Legal access: Flexible in allowing advocacy groups during special events, eg. Christmas, and other times.
