ICE Detention Operations Manual

On September 12, 2008, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the publication of forty-one (41) new Performance-Based National Detention Standards. The enhanced standards will take full effect in all facilities housing ICE detainees in January 2010.
The standards in the Detentions Operation Manual published in 2006 are still currently in effect, however. Attached below are the 2006 standards which are still in use.
