Detention Briefing Materials for the United Nations Special Rapporteur

In May of 2007, the United Nations Special Rapporteur for the Human Rights of Migrants journeyed across the United States to investigate the conditions under which migrants are treated in America. These briefing materials, prepared by advocates around the country, many of whom are Detention Watch Network members, were intended to give a broad overview of the US detention system and the challenges and concerns created by that system.
