Interamerican Commission on Human Rights Thematic Hearing on the Impact of US immigration detention and enforcement on vulnerable populations

Where: Salon David Padilha Vidal Room, Salon A of the GSB Building of the Organization of American States, 1889 F St. NW, Washington, D.C.
Michelle Brané of the Women’s Commission for Refugee Women and Children, Christopher Nugent at Holland & Knight and Kerri Sherlock of Rights Working Group, will testify before the Interamerican Commission regarding U.S. immigration detention. The speakers submitted a letter requesting the hearing before the commission (see attachment) and it was granted. Representatives of the U.S. government will also be asked to testify. The hearing is open to the public.
