ICE Offices & Immigration Courts

ICE Offices refer to the regional field offices of Immigration and Customs Enforcement used to coordinate detention and removal operations.

Immigration Courts are those courts where immigrants have their cases heard. Immigrants detained near a court will be taken to the court (some large detention centers have court in the center itself). Those detained far from courts may be transported to the nearest court or have their cases heard via televideo.
