Advocacy Manager or Senior Advocacy Manager

Start Date: August 2025. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority given to applications received by June 5, 2025.

DWN is looking for an Advocacy Manager or a Senior Advocacy Manager to advance DWN’s mission to end immigration detention through advocacy, coalition building, data and policy analysis, strategy development, and research. Our team provides technical assistance and education to DWN members, the public, lawmakers, and other stakeholders. The person will play a significant role with Congressional advocacy efforts, in particular leading DWN’s appropriations strategy. They will also serve as an important coalition-builder for DWN members and allies who engage in advocacy at the federal level, including incorporating the demands and perspectives of DWN members and will serve as a resource for local DWN members engaging in in- district or state-level advocacy.

Call for Board of Director Applications

The application deadline is June 13, 2025. We will conduct interviews in July, aiming to onboard new Board members in August.

Organizing and Membership Director

Start Date: May 2025. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority given to applications received by February 28, 2025.

Location: Fully Remote, Anywhere in the U.S.

DWN is looking for an Organizing and Membership Director to build the power of the Network and movement to abolish immigration detention, by: developing the leadership of members to drive campaigns; growing DWN’s capacity to support local and national efforts challenging immigration enforcement, recruiting new organizations and individuals to join; and building power with national partner organizations. The Organizing and Membership Director will develop and implement campaigns and engage in public education, outreach and ally building.
